Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use EthOS. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Your Account

You can create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials (or, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account) and for all activity that occurs under your EthOS account. Notify us immediately at help@useethos.co if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use EthOS to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or harmful.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service, or circumvent bot-detection or rate-limiting controls (including on the free demo generator on this site).
• Publish AI-generated content in a way that violates YouTube's, Instagram's, or any other platform's terms of service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Free Demo Generator

This site offers a free, no-account-required demo that generates a short sample video from a topic you type in. The demo is rate-limited and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (a bot-detection challenge); we may block or throttle requests we believe are abusive or automated. The demo is provided for evaluation purposes only, may be limited, modified, or withdrawn at any time without notice, and comes with no availability or quality guarantee.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI providers (including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and other models routed through OpenRouter for scripts and topics; Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and ElevenLabs for voiceovers; HeyGen for AI avatar video; and PiAPI and stock footage from Pexels for visuals) to produce scripts, voiceovers, images, and video. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving content before publishing.
• We make no warranties about the originality, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated content for any purpose.
• Publishing AI-generated content may be subject to disclosure requirements on certain platforms; compliance is your responsibility.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content: you retain ownership of the prompts, scripts, and other inputs you create. You grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely to provide the Service. Generated outputs: to the extent permitted by applicable AI provider terms and law, generated images, voiceovers, and videos produced on your behalf are yours to use. We claim no ownership over them. Our IP: the EthOS platform, logo, and underlying software are owned by us and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our written permission.

7. Connected Platforms (YouTube & Instagram)

When you connect YouTube or Instagram, you authorise us to publish content to those platforms on your behalf only when you explicitly trigger an upload. You remain solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with those platforms' community guidelines and terms. You can disconnect these integrations at any time from the Integrations page; this immediately revokes our ability to publish.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uptime. The Service depends on third-party AI providers and cloud infrastructure that may experience outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from unavailability of the Service or third-party providers.

9. Credits, Plans, and Billing

EthOS operates on a credits system tied to a plan (including a free plan). Plan features, credit allowances, and prices are shown on our pricing page and may change from time to time; if you're on a paid plan, we'll give you reasonable notice before a price change takes effect for your next billing cycle. We do not currently charge payment cards automatically — any paid plan requires you to complete a separate checkout step, and we will not charge you without your consent at that time. Unused credits do not carry a cash value and are non-refundable except as required by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that AI-generated content will meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
